golf range finders

BIG gift for an avid golfer?

My father golfs just about every other day of his life. He lives in a country club on the 16th hole. Buying him a ’round of golf’ isn’t an option.
It’s his 50th birthday and I’d like to get him a really nice gift, but I can’t afford to actually send him away. I’m a college student so I can only afford like $200 on the gift.
Any ideas?
I was thinking of a Range Finder if he doesn’t have one, so also…if anyone knows of a good one?

thanks!

Bad break up, trying to sell golf clubs but need info, please read if you know anything about golf!!?

So, to make it short. My ex boyfriend was/is/may not be a PGA European Golf Tour Pro. We broke up an he owed me money, long story… I have his clubs/bag, which were apparently made for him by Taylormade. And a slope/range finder (only Taylormade issue) possibly why I can’t find it anywhere onlne! I’m beginning to find a lot of little flaws in some of his stories. I think he played golf but I’m no longer sure if he was actually a PGA Pro, or he was at one time but no longer. So, I’m trying to sell his stuff to recoup what he owes me. I’ve heard about special serial numbers on PRO issued clubs. Like a distinct # pattern different than the standard issue/public clubs. Can anyone tell me if this is true? what should the # contain if PRO? I just want to get back what is owed to me and it would probably help a little if I could truthfully put “PRO” when selling them. Thanks anyone that can help me. If u have any more info please skaribrat@gmail.com.
Before you ask how I don’t know about my own boyfriends profession… we were together during the off season. I’ve seen him play, and it is pro quality, but be broke up before the tucson leg. And… I’m not trying to be a mean ex, he left me in a huge bind with that money, he knew it, dragged it on for two months and then just stopped, calling, emails text etc. So, over him but still need to pay bills. Any help please!!

And PS.. Im not trying to be a B%^$ch to him.. I waited two months, he gave me a million excuses as to why he didn’t get the money to me, and then he just dissappeared. So, my bad I got screwed, now Im just trying to pay my bills. ;o) Didn’t want anyone not to answer, thinking I was just some mean ex selling off stuff…. thanks again.
Yea, they all have numbers, Im just not sure how to tell if they are “pro” serial numbers or not. ;o( thank you both for the advice!!

What types of golf clubs should I buy for the 2009 2010 seasons?

I desperately need new golf clubs for the new golf season and I want something good. I’m a mid to low handicapper and I am looking to buy golf clubs that will be forgiving, and also allow me to hit the same ball flight consistently. I also want a new bag, range finder, Irons, and drivers/fairway clubs and wedges (which wedges should I buy?/ what brand) and putter (what brand?/ model), I dont need a set of clubs, I can buy them seperately I just want a bag that looks good and stuff like that. Help me please! THANKS

I am caddying this summer at a private golf club.
Thanks

rangefinder??

Rangefinder?
I recently bought a manual rangefinder however there aren’t any instructions. I intend to use it for target archery. If you search 6X Golf Range Finder with Electronic Score Card Function it will come up. Please help me.

how do i find the size of an object based on the size that I see it as?

This is like a golf pin range finder. I know the height of the object, 28 inches, and I know that i’m looking through the range finder tube at about 12 inches. What would the height of the object be when I’m looking thru the tube at 20 yards (720 inches)?

Has anyone used the I-on optics range finders?

http://www.i-onoptics.com/index.html

I was wondering if anyone has tried these. Do they compare to Bushnell, Nikon, Leupold? Also does it have the scan feature? Also what rangefinder does it compare to? Obviously the LS-505G is better for golf, so I was wondering if anyone has tried that model. Thanks
Ok well now that I got that answer that completely avoided the question can I get a real answer?
